The stunt was witnessed by Bike Week tourists, students, and visitors to the Ripley's Aquarium, filmed by several film crews, and seen by over 50 million viewers on over 500 TV stations. The feat was made into a Ripley's Believe It or Not! cartoon and published in the Ripley's Believe It or Not book in August 2008.
